Machine/Deep Learning Platform Engineer - Next Gen Infrastructure Build

My client, a leading quantitative hedge fund, is hiring for a Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer.

This $20bn AUM hedge fund, builds and implements systematic, computer-driven trading strategies founded rigorous quantitative and machine learning research.

One of the trading teams, specializing in high frequency to intraday trading, is scaling their research into deeper machine learning and deep learning approaches. The team is hiring for an experienced platform engineer to design and build the training infrastructure for the predictive machine learning models that will underpin their next generation strategies.

In addition, the platform engineer will:

Assist in developing and optimising ML-based models in deep learning frameworks Modernise our mid-frequency research and execution platform Partner with low-latency engineers to integrate ML models into our high-frequency trading strategies

The successful candidate will have:

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong record of shipping production systems in Python (and ideally C++). Deep experience with ML training infrastructure at scale (e.g. Ray, Slurm) including GPU orchestration, feature stores, experiment tracking, and model serving. Experience with deep learning model frameworks
