About the Role
An incredible opportunity to advance your career by sharing expertise and technical knowledge. This fulfilling position focuses on developing the skills of RNLI volunteers and staff who operate and maintain search and rescue equipment and lifeboats across all RNLI sites in the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging technical training sessions to enhance crew skills.
- Produce and update training materials to reflect the latest Search and Rescue (SAR) developments.
- Maintain learners' skills with up-to-date training in operating and maintaining RNLI assets safely and effectively.
- Apply practical engineering experience to troubleshoot faults, equip, and supervise maintenance procedures.

About You
Key Requirements
- A strong technical background, particularly in machine operation, maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of RNLI lifeboats and equipment, but not essential.
- A valid driving licence.
- Ability to meet RNLI medical and eyesight standards for sea-going roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
- A passion for teaching, mentoring, and enabling others to grow professionally.
