Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Set and operate manual horizontal borers, lathes, milling and drilling machines as required
  • Programme, set and operate CNC horizontal borers, lathes and milling machines as required
  • Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly
  • Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols
  • Operate overhead crane as required (once trained)
  • Ensure correct marking up of component parts
  • Work to quality standards required for the components and to maintain the ISO 9001 accreditation
  • Cut materials from stock bar maintaining material identity at all times
  • Undertake final inspections of finished components
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
  • Ensure job timings are met/exceeded (once trained)
