- GCSE in Maths & English (grade A*-C/9-4)

Responsibilities
- Set and operate manual horizontal borers, lathes, milling and drilling machines as required
- Programme, set and operate CNC horizontal borers, lathes and milling machines as required
- Accurately follow job cards and update accordingly
- Understand and read engineering drawings/symbols
- Operate overhead crane as required (once trained)
- Ensure correct marking up of component parts
- Work to quality standards required for the components and to maintain the ISO 9001 accreditation
- Cut materials from stock bar maintaining material identity at all times
- Undertake final inspections of finished components
- Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area
- Ensure job timings are met/exceeded (once trained)
