As a Business Lecturer at Boreham Wood Football Academy, you will support learners aged 16 and above to develop strong business knowledge alongside the wider skills needed to progress in sport, employment, apprenticeships or higher education. You will bring business concepts to life through relevant, practical and engaging teaching that connects classroom learning with real-world careers and learner aspirations.
This is an opportunity to be part of a focused academy model where education and football work together to raise ambition, strengthen discipline and support progression. You will work closely with colleagues to create a purposeful learning experience that helps learners understand the business side of sport, develop professional behaviours and prepare confidently for their future pathways.

What You'll Bring
We are looking for forward-thinking individuals who are ready to learn, grow and make a genuine difference to the learners they work with.
Essential
- A Level 3 or above qualification in Business, Travel, Tourism or a related subject area
- Experience in the business or travel sector, a teaching setting, or both
- Experience working collaboratively within teams
- Strong IT skills and excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
- A professional, approachable manner and commitment to learner outcomes
- Commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion and safeguarding
Even Better If You Have...
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject area
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Teaching experience at any level
- Knowledge of current trends and changes within the business or travel sector
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to manage data and make informed, data-driven decisions

Annual Season Ticket Loans

The College will refund the cost of regular eye tests for staff that use Display Screen Equipment regularly as part of their duties.

Gym Facilities
Our Sports Centre at Southgate Campus is available for all staff with cardio, strength and conditioning equipment. The 2-floor gym is free for members of staff to use Monday to Friday within term time.
Hair Salon Services and Beauty Treatments
A range of competitively-priced hairdressing services are accessible at our Colindale Campus. Regularly providing special staff offers which is convenient during lunch hours or after work.
