Mainframe Operator
Mainframe Network Administrator
Responsibilities
- Configuration and administration of IBM z/OS mainframe network software
- Configuration and administration of network related 3rd party system software
- Internal and external technical support for Mainframe Networking issues:
- Normal working day support
- On-call out-of-hours support
- Acting as a Mainframe Networking resource for projects
- Monitoring performance of mainframe networking components and instigating remedial action
- Production of clear technical documentation as required
- Compliance with all:
- Local policies
- Regional policies
- Global policies
- Regulatory policies, processes and procedures

Requirements
A self-starter completer/finisher with:
- Essential core skills:
- Experience as an experienced technician with:
- Basic to advanced mastery in select areas from:
- TCP/IP and associated products/protocols
- SNA, VTAM, APPN/Enterprise Extender
- Connect Direct and other file transfer products
- Session Management products (e.g., TPX, Teleview, CL/Supersession)
- Network Management products (e.g., NETVIEW, Netmaster/TCPIP)
- Print server products (e.g., VPS)
- Basic to advanced mastery in select areas from:
- Experience as an experienced technician with:
