Job Responsibilities:
- Respond and listen to customer repair requests.
- Repair minor plumbing issues, such as unclogging pipes and toilets, fixing faucet or sink leaks.
- Perform various minor repairs, such as tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
- Complete daily logs on operations, maintenance, and safety activities.
- Communicate with customers as needed to resolve maintenance issues.
- Follow and enforce all safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; attend safety training and obtain certifications.
- Ensure to wear a clean and complete work uniform; maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times; respect confidentiality in the dissemination of information specific to the brand and/or hotel and protect all company property.
- Welcome and receive customers according to company standards, anticipate their needs and respond, and assist individuals with reduced mobility.
- Use clear and courteous language in all communications.
- Develop and maintain positive professional relationships, and listen to and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and standards.
- Ability to perform knee extensions and flexions, including bending, turning, pulling, and lowering.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and set down loads weighing a maximum of 23 kilos independently.
- Climb stairs, service entrances, and/or ladders.
- Carry, turn, and handle loads of various sizes and weights.
- Perform all other tasks requested by supervisors that are consistent with the position.
