Location: Office-based (High Wycombe), hybrid (3 days per week) after probation Reports to: Maintenance & Monitoring Team Lead Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (9am–5:30pm) Contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive + Benefits

As a Maintenance & Monitoring Officer, you’ll be part of the technical heartbeat of our operations, proactively monitoring and maintaining our ANPR and smart infrastructure estate. Your work will directly impact uptime, efficiency, and profitability across our nationwide sites.

You’ll help shape smarter maintenance by:
- Proactively analysing live ANPR systems using remote and local software tools
- Identifying trends and recurring faults to support long-term technical strategies
- Contributing to smarter, more sustainable maintenance models that reduce downtime and reactive callouts

You’ll work with precision and purpose by:
- Reviewing technical data and equipment status across all sites, ensuring issues are resolved within strict SLAs
- Preparing specifications and estimates for minor works and repairs
- Supporting pre- and post-inspection checks to ensure quality and compliance

You’ll be a key part of a collaborative team by:
- Liaising with engineers, service desk, landlords, and commercial teams to coordinate maintenance efforts
- Supporting the Scheduling & Stock Controller with asset tracking and service readiness
- Participating in toolbox talks, team briefings, and service reviews

You’ll stay sharp and responsive by:
- Reacting quickly to service alerts, reported faults, and site disruptions
- Maintaining focus and accuracy while managing multiple priorities
- Supporting field engineers with remote diagnostics and technical guidance

You’ll take ownership of your work by:
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and preparing performance reports
- Ensuring all works meet quality standards and comply with safety protocols
- Providing technical advice and helping shape long-term maintenance solutions
Responsibilities
- Monitoring ANPR and smart parking systems for faults and performance issues
- Logging, tracking, and escalating faults using internal systems and dashboards
- Remotely inspecting and assessing reported issues, and coordinating repairs
- Preparing specifications and estimates for minor works
- Supporting inspections and ensuring maintenance quality standards
- Operating within agreed maintenance budgets and SLAs
- Maintaining audit-ready records and contributing to performance reporting
- Assisting in the development of long-term technical maintenance strategies

Requirements
- Experience in a similar technical maintenance or monitoring role
- Strong understanding of car parking technology and ANPR hardware
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day workload effectively
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, and SQL (SSMS, T-SQL) is beneficial
- Experience building or interpreting monitoring reports using Excel or similar tools
- A collaborative mindset and ability to adapt to changing demands
