Contract: Rolling Contract with Permanent Opportunity
Shift Pattern: Rotating 3 shift pattern
Pay Rate: £40.12 per hour Umbrella PAYE
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance and Repair Technician to join a leading automotive manufacturing environment supporting production operations by working on various sealant systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fault-finding on automated sealant application systems, ensuring that equipment reliability, production efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

- Diagnose and repair faults on automated sealant application equipment and associated systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
- Perform mechanical inspections and replace components where required.
- Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with quality procedures.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records where required.
- Contribute towards maintaining high manufacturing standards across production operations.

Ideal Candidate
- Strong mechanical or maintenance technician background.
- Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Contract Information
This position is offered on a rolling contract basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment following a successful review period. The successful Maintenance and Repair Technician will work within a busy manufacturing environment supporting production operations.
