We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Maintenance Assistant at Ettington Park Hotel, part of Hand Picked Hotels.

Tucked within a secluded Shakespearean landscape, Ettington Park Hotel & Spa offers a truly extraordinary place to grow your hospitality career. This Neo-Gothic masterpiece, set within 40 acres of parkland and woodland near Stratford-upon-Avon, blends dramatic architecture with discreet luxury—creating a workplace that is as inspiring as it is unique.

As part of our team, you’ll help bring the hotel’s rich heritage and quiet elegance to life for every guest. From welcoming visitors exploring our manicured gardens and historic ivy-clad ruins, to supporting the fine dining experience where candlelight, exceptional service, and menus celebrating the best of British provenance take centre stage, your role will help shape moments our guests never forget.

What Will the Role Involve?

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our hotel remains beautifully maintained, safe, and welcoming for both guests and colleagues. Your work will combine proactive upkeep and reactive maintenance, helping us protect the integrity of our property and its facilities.

  • Take pride in carrying out general maintenance across the hotel and staff accommodation, caring for the spaces as though they were your own.
  • Coordinate and complete scheduled health and safety checks, ensuring our hotel meets regulatory standards and reflects the exceptional quality of a luxury Hand Picked Hotel.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7, including weekend shifts on a rota basis, with 40 hours per week that may vary depending on business needs. Flexible working hours can be accommodated where possible.
