Maintenance Assistant

Maintenance Assistant – Full Time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

The main duties of this role include:

  • Ensuring all facilities and common areas at the resort are maintained to the highest standards, in line with the company’s flawless reputation.
  • Completing all maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently, resolving any issues that arise without delay.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities and completing any relevant administrative tasks.
  • Enhancing the appearance of units, facilities, and common areas through decorating and improvement projects.
  • Conducting pre-arrival checks on units to identify any defects or issues from previous guest stays.
  • Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner, ensuring swift and efficient resolutions.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A solid working knowledge and experience in at least one trade.
  • The ability to take ownership of customer problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and listen attentively.
  • Previous experience with health and safety (beneficial but not mandatory).
  • Proven maintenance role experience, particularly in similar environments.
  • Strong general maintenance skills, including painting and decorating.
  • The ability to multitask and remain productive under pressure.
  • Self-motivation to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Location Notes

Due to the resort’s location, own transport is required.
