Role Description
This full-time, on-site Maintenance Assistant role is based on Bath Road Heathrow. The Maintenance Assistant will support the upkeep of buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Performing routine inspections
- Carrying out basic repairs
- Assisting with preventive maintenance schedules
- Reporting any faults or safety concerns to supervisors

The role involves handling tools and materials, supporting contractors or senior maintenance staff, and following established health and safety procedures. The Maintenance Assistant will also communicate with colleagues and management to coordinate work, minimize downtime, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Skills in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance to support the reliable operation of machinery and systems.
- Skills in Building Maintenance and general Maintenance to assist with repairs, inspections, and facility upkeep.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with team members, follow instructions, and report issues clearly.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices, including hazard recognition and safe use of tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow maintenance schedules, work orders, and standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities, or similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a reliable attendance record.
