Maintenance Team Member

About the Role

You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn key skills. You'll also work closely with experienced team members as you grow in your role.

This full-time (40 hours/week, including weekends) position is designed for those with a passion for hospitality and maintenance.

Your Responsibilities

Your role will include:

  • Managing daily workloads effectively, utilising resources for painting, decorating, and general maintenance
  • Performing maintenance tasks, including preventative routines in tiling, plumbing, and carpetry/carpentry
  • Investigating and resolving equipment and control system issues
  • Assisting plumbers and electricians with hotel system defects and repairs
  • Collaborating across all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring work meets professional and safety standards
  • Complying with health and safety regulations and HACCP procedures

Requirements

We’re looking for:

  • Previous hospitality experience (preferred)
  • Safe Pass certification (advantageous)
  • Qualifications in trades such as painting, plumbing, or construction (desirable)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Detail-oriented and standards-driven
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility in working hours (weekends included)
  • Good command of English
