Maintenance Assistant – Aria Court Care Home
As a Maintenance Assistant at Aria Court Care Home, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring all safety checks are complete

About the Role
You will work closely with the Maintenance Operative, sharing responsibility for:
- Maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for all residents and staff
- Leading by example while working closely with wider teams
- Setting and upholding the highest service standards

Salary: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis (Monday–Sunday)
Home Location: Coronation Close, March, PE15 9PP
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality decoration and promptly address all snagging and defect reports
- Manage minor repairs and plumbing issues in a timely manner
- Oversee refuse area maintenance, including clinical waste and general rubbish removal
- Ensure electrical equipment and boiler house are properly maintained and repaired
- Co-ordinate weekly, monthly, and annual equipment & system testing
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Essential: Experience in a similar maintenance role
- Competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Clear written, non-verbal, and verbal communication skills
