Maintenance Assistant
Boringdon Hall Hotel, a 5-star manor house on the edge of Dartmoor, is home to the Michelin Star restaurant Àclèaf, the award-winning Gaia Spa, and the 2 Rosette Mayflower Brasserie. Known as ‘the Enchanted Place on the Hill’, Boringdon offers a unique environment steeped in history, beauty, and nature.
Requirements
- 1 Year working within a similar role
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong practical maintenance skills
- Team player with a guest focused approach
Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Ensure stock control within the maintenance department.
- Timely completion of maintenance to ensure product quality.
- Completion and maintenance of the fire log book.
- Record keeping of room maintenance.
- Maintaining high standards of outside areas, public areas, guest bedrooms, and grounds maintenance.
- Follow all hotel policies.
- Ensure good working relationships with all other departments and communicate information throughout the hotel.
- Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
- All other duties as required.
