About the Role
The Maintenance Assistant will work closely with the Maintenance Operative to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all residents and employees. You will collaborate with wider teams to provide strong leadership and maintain high service standards.

- Salary: £12.71 per hour
- Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, worked on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday)
- Location: Coronation Close, March, England, PE15 9PP
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure decorations are maintained to the highest standard and snagging issues are resolved promptly.
- Oversee minor repairs and plumbing fixes in a timely manner.
- Maintain the refuse area, including clinical waste and rubbish removal from the home.
- Maintain and repair electrical equipment and the boiler system as necessary.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual tests of all equipment and systems within the home.
Training, Skills & Experience Required
- Essential: Experience in a similar maintenance role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including non-verbal (e.g., signage, labelling)
