AASC – Bolton and Radcliffe
Role Summary
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week), with a starting salary of £27,500 to £33,500 depending on experience and skills. Benefits include:

About the Role
Working with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services (AASC), this role is essential in maintaining accommodation for individuals within the asylum system. You will be responsible for repairs, maintenance, and proactive upkeep of properties, ensuring works are completed to high standards and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct reactive and pre-planned repairs across joinery, fitting, plumbing, painting, and decorating.
- Ensure on-time completion of tasks as agreed with managers.
- Prioritise work independently while adhering to workflow demands.
- Adhere to strict health and safety regulations for yourself and occupants.
- Manage materials purchase using a company accounts card from approved suppliers.
- Maintain company vehicles in a professional and clean condition.

Working Arrangements
- Standard hours: Mon to Fri, 7.5 hours daily (08:00–18:00).
- On-call duties: Rotating 24/7 emergency cover (~1x every 8–10 weeks).

Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory for all travel/out-of-area work).
- Valid security clearance checks (Home Office approval required).
- Experience in maintenance trades (joinery, plumbing, decorating).
- Must complete disability-friendly interview if shortlisted.
