# Maintenance Assistant – Malmaison
Location: York
Contract Type: Permanent
Rate: £14.07 per hour
Hours: 24 Hours
About the Role

Responsibilities revolve around completing daily tasks, adhering to preventative maintenance schedules, and handling jobs efficiently. You’ll liaise with contractors, manage health and safety protocols, and work within tight deadlines while ensuring meticulous attention to detail. Experience in a similar high-quality hotel’s maintenance department is recommended, and familiarity with electrical systems and health and safety is beneficial.

Person Specification
✔ Experience in a maintenance department within a high-end hotel is essential. ✔ Knowledge of electricity basics and compliance with health and safety standards is advantageous. ✔ High level of attention to detail. ✔ Exceptional organisational abilities and excellent communication skills.
