Maintenance Assistant (Permanent) AH
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general property maintenance, inc. carpentry, tiling, repairs to doors, windows & locking systems.
- Install and repair gutter and drainpipe systems.
- Perform basic plumbing repairs.
- Source and obtain materials from local suppliers.
- Oversee the work of contractors when required.
- Provide support to colleagues, including covering for absences and offering on-call assistance.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and health and safety regulations.
- Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
- Expertise in one or more building trades such as carpentry, plastering, or tiling.
- Possession of a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Substantial proven experience in a similar role, with basic understanding of current Building Regulations.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- High practical ability and strong numeracy skills for measuring and making calculations.
