Maintenance Associate
Location: Head office, Watford
Working hours: 7.30am-4pm, Mon-Thu
We`re looking for a dedicated, reliable and proactive individual with a maintenance background (or similar) to join the team.
At Wetherspoon, we value individuals with practical knowledge and a hands-on approach.
The Role
To carry out all required maintenance and decoration duties, in line with an approved task list, working unsupervised. You will:
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure a clean, safe and legal workplace.
- Adhere to Wetherspoon`s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Work with third-party contractors.
- Ensure that all work completed by you, or by an approved contractor, is in line with the company`s design standard operating procedures (DSOPs).
- Assemble and move furniture, carrying out minor repairs in line with our operation guidelines and dealing with spillages, bins and daily ad hoc jobs.
- Keep car parks, gardens and offices maintained to a good standard.
- Carry out any reasonable task, as requested, to meet business needs.

About You
- Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks
- Ability to work unsupervised and resolve problems, using your own knowledge, while working in line with relevant guidelines
- Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm in your role and show commitment to your colleagues and pub
- Have a friendly nature and good communications skills
- Be honest, trustworthy and respectful
- Remain calm when working in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to Wetherspoon`s appearance standards, ensuring that, when required, correct PPE is worn
- Receive regular feedback from the management team and achieve any actions agreed on

Salary And Benefits
£23,745 per annum (based on 32 hours per week)
20 days` paid holiday (plus bank holidays) pro rata; head-office bonus scheme; free shares (after 18 months with the company); private medical insurance; contributory pension scheme
