Maintenance Co-ordinator

Maintenance Co-ordinator – Edinburgh (EH7 5RA)

About the Role

We’re excited to offer an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Co-ordinator—a full-time, permanent position based in Edinburgh, EH7 5RA, with a Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm) schedule.

Role Summary

You’ll take responsibility for arranging and organising the trade team’s workload, ensuring efficient scheduling by:

  • Booking appointments for in-house tradespeople
  • Responding to email and telephone enquiries
  • Creating quotes for client approval
  • Ordering parts
  • Checking safety certification and collecting job completion details

Key Responsibilities

Key Tasks

  • Liaise between departments and clients to optimise weekly job schedules for tradespeople.
  • Maintain efficient communication with trades teams and customers to reduce delays and improve service.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and process client orders.
  • Source and order required parts/materials for maintenance jobs.
  • Ensure contractor and company safety certifications are up-to-date.
  • Record and forward job completion verification details.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong administration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Outstanding organisational abilities and capacity to multitask efficiently.
  • Experience working in a goal-driven team environment.
  • Current legal right to work in the UK without restrictions.

Desirable Skills

  • Prior experience in a maintenance or customer service coordination role (advantageous).
