Role Overview
The maintenance team will cover all distillery operations (milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation, and bottling).
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Maintain the malt handling, milling, mashing, yeast transfer, fermentation, distillation, and bottling equipment to ensure continuous availability.
- Monitor and maintain the site utility systems including but not limited to boiler, chillers, air blast chiller and compressors, working to the manufacturers guidance.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure equipment is clean and areas are always organized
- Follow and maintain electrical SOP's.
- Follow all safety precautions and related QHSE requirements.
- Understand process flows and equipment (pumps, agitators, valves, instruments, etc)
- Complete all maintenance duties as directed by Production Manager.
- Adhere to our business standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Be part of the ‘on-call’ rota.
Key Requirements and Personal Attributes
- Must have completed an electrical apprenticeship.
- 18th edition wiring regulations
- Working knowledge of SAP would be a distinct advantage
- Instrumentation/PLC experience would be a distinct advantage
- Must have a demonstrable track record providing electrical solutions across a variety of complex machinery and equipment and working in high-speed process’s
- Ability to work in a team environment focusing on continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ability to be flexible in duties and schedule – Out of hours may be required during breakdown conditions.
- Good oral and written communication skills

- Previous distillation/bottling experience preferred
