Maintenance Electrician - Manchester City Centre
Permanent
£40,000 per annum
Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician on behalf of our client, working across two large government-owned commercial buildings in Manchester City Centre.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established maintenance team on a secure, long-term contract, offering excellent job stability, regular overtime, and genuine career progression.

The Role
- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Working across two commercial sites within Manchester City Centre
- Fault finding, repairs, and general electrical building maintenance
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards
- Participating in a 1 in 6 on-call rota
On-Call & Overtime
- 1 in 6 on-call rota
- Engineers provide additional cover for Preston when on call
- Minimum 4 hours paid at time and a half for call-outs
- Regular overtime available
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Experience within a commercial maintenance environment
- Strong fault-finding and reactive maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a government vetting process (typically 2-3 weeks)
