Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join an established technical manufacturing business based in Forfar.
Our client is part of an established international manufacturing group, operating a large production facility in Angus with a strong reputation for quality and innovation across their sector.
What's on offer?
- Full-time permanent position
- 41,231 to 47,416 per annum on a sliding scale
- Three shift rotation across days, backs and nights:
- Day shift: 07:00 to 15:00 or 08:00 to 16:00
- Back shift: 15:00 to 23:00 or 16:00 to 00:00
- Night shift: 00:00 to 08:00
- 48-hour on-call period required one weekend in five

As a Maintenance Electrician, Your Duties Will Include
- Organising and prioritising maintenance work on a shift-by-shift basis
- Installation of plant and machinery
- Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
- Carrying out portable appliance testing
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times

To be considered as a Maintenance Electrician, you will need:
- A time-served electrical background, educated to HNC or City and Guilds level
- Additional training or knowledge in the mechanical discipline
- Working knowledge of current Electrical Regulations
- The ability to work on your own initiative with strong communication skills
