Maintenance Electrician – Critical Role (Full Time, Permanent)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to replace a retiring colleague, playing a pivotal role in supporting our site operations. Your responsibilities will ensure plant reliability, safety, and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault-finding and repairs for Assembly plant, equipment, and CNC machining centres
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Rapid breakdown response to minimise operational downtime
- Support installations and improvement projects
- Strict adherence to electrical safety standards
Requirements
- Time-served electrician or equivalent qualification
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Expertise in:
- PLC fault finding
- Motors and drives
- PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
