Maintenance Engineer (either bias) – Kegworth, Derbyshire

Salary - £61,641

Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off, 12-hour shifts, 6-6 (rotating days and nights)

The role of a Maintenance Engineer at Refresco

You will be an integral part of your team, ensure the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and work as part of a well-regarded, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work throughout our factory on various equipment – of various age ranges, including; blow moulding machinery, pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, pneumatics, etc.

Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, taking responsibility for delivering a high-quality Engineering service. Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults. Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area. Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards. Get involved with factory improvement projects.

About You

We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer (either biased) or a truly multi-skilled maintenance engineer. You’ll be an experienced, time-served, OR apprenticeship-trained Engineer who can rapidly diagnose and resolve problems and lead maintenance and continuous improvement activity too.

Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military are welcome to apply.

Minimum L3 engineering qualification or time served Multi-skilled background – either biased Be confident enough to put forward new ideas and suggestions. Be accurate in your daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail. Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment Further skillset overview: fault finding in panels, Sensors, Relays, Inverters, Drives, Motors, Pumps, Pneumatics, and Pipework.
