Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Bradford
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturer in Bradford to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias).
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 p.a.
- Shift Pattern: Rotating over a four-week cycle:
- 06:00 – 14:30 (1 week in 4)
- 08:00 – 16:30 (2 weeks in 4)
- 13:30 – 22:00 (1 week in 4)
- Annual Leave: 22 days (including bank holidays)
- Overtime: 1.5x pay
Key Responsibilities
The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Mechanical & Plant Maintenance
- Measuring the performance of mechanical components, devices, and machines.
- Maintaining, modifying, and ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency of equipment.

Electrical Maintenance
- Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance across machinery.
- Monitoring, commissioning, and troubleshooting electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Undertaking fault-finding and test procedures.

Technical Support & Problem-Solving
- Providing technical advice and recommending modifications to production machines.
- Responding promptly to emergency breakdowns.

Operational Excellence
- Repairing, servicing, and maintaining plant, machinery, and systems with PLC proficiency.
Essential Requirements
- Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering.
- 17th or 18th Edition standards certified.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments (large-scale production machinery).
- Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of PLC systems (competency required).
- Attritbutes & Mindset:
- Ability to work under pressure and solve practical problems efficiently.
