Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights (Monday-Friday) + 1 in 4 Weekend On-Call

The Role
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment to maximise reliability, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement across the site.

- Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on production equipment.
- Supporting production teams to maximise equipment performance.
- Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery, HMIs and automated systems.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a CMMS.
- Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Working safely and ensuring all maintenance activities meet food manufacturing and health & safety standards.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering function.
You'll ideally have:
- Apprentice-trained Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias).
- NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Engineering.
- Experience within a food, FMCG or other fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA or DCS systems.
- Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit engineering team.

Desirable:
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification.
- HNC/HND in Engineering.
- NEBOSH or IOSH.
- CompEx certification.
- CHP or ETP experience.
