The basics:
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Pay:
- Level 1: £50,773.72
- Level 2: £52,237.19
- Level 3: £54,508.37
- Level 4: £58,193.32 DOE + OT = earnings of £63,000 and upwards achievable
Shift: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (6.00am to 6.00pm and 11.00am to 11.00pm – rotation discussed at interview)
Overtime:
- x1.5 Mon-Sat
- x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 22 shifts.
Overview:
We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that have sites across the globe you will be working in a multi skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers considered, however electrical skills will be required for the role.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM’s
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer:
May have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served, apprentice trained or above
- Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given – the company provide electrical courses offsite)
- Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery beneficial
