Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
A well-established manufacturer with an excellent reputation is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their production team.
Shift Pattern: Day Shift – 6am – 6pm | 4 days on, 4 days off
The Role
We are looking for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment, combines strong technical expertise with excellent problem-solving skills, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of equipment performance and safety.

Maintenance & Operations:
- Plan and execute comprehensive preventive and reactive maintenance across all production equipment
- Optimise machine performance, safety, and availability
- Set up and operate production equipment to specification
- Maintain high-quality tooling and spare parts inventory
Performance & Improvement:
- Actively participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects
- Analyse performance data to identify and justify process enhancements
- Collaborate effectively with manufacturing teams through clear communication and shift handovers

The Candidate
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in an Engineering discipline
- 3+ years’ hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good electrical skills with practical experience in fault finding, repairs, and maintenance
- Experience with pneumatics
- Proven experience with production equipment setup and fault diagnosis
Nice to Have:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- PLC experience (diagnostics, and troubleshooting)
The Package
Up to £46,000 per annum
