Maintenance Engineer
Stoke-on-Trent £56,340
Unique 12-Hour Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) Overtime (1.5x) + 4% Pension
A large-scale automated distribution operation is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team.
This is a highly reactive maintenance role working across a busy automated facility containing conveyors, cranes, sortation systems and warehouse automation equipment.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Reactive breakdown maintenance across automated distribution equipment
- Fault finding on conveyors, cranes, drives, rollers and automated handling systems
- Working safely within panels using multi-meters and electrical drawings
- Supporting PPMs and engineering projects when required
- Responding to plant breakdowns quickly within a fast-paced operation

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
- A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
- Previous experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or production environments
- Ability to work safely both mechanically and electrically
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving ability

- Average earnings between £60-65,000+ with overtime
