Maintenance Engineer
Maintenance Engineers (4 on, 4 off Rotating Shifts – Nights & Days)
Location: Theale Accessible from: Oxford, Basingstoke, Wokingham, Newbury, Bracknell, Maidenhead Salary: £35,000 – £53,000 per annum Holiday: 20 days + Benefits: Learning and development opportunities, staff discounts, pension scheme

About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plant, machinery, and equipment to ensure efficient, reliable operation.
- Diagnose and resolve urgent breakdowns and faults rapidly to minimise production downtime.
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance tasks across sites to enhance production efficiency.
- Support installation, testing, and systems commissioning of new equipment and optimisations to existing infrastructure.
- Maintain precise records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and documentation for compliance and regulatory audits.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, covering mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, refrigeration, and boilers in a production environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or food production environments, with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proven track record of responding effectively to emergency repairs and tight deadlines.
