Maintenance Engineer

£32,500 - £35,777 + Overtime + Training + Progression
Taunton, Wellington

Are you a Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar with a background in manufacturing, production machinery, or site plant, looking to join a company offering training, overtime, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of specialist production equipment?

Would you like the opportunity to work in a varied site-based role carrying out electrically biased maintenance, repair, installation, and pre-planned maintenance across production machinery, equipment, and site plant, while supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established manufacturing business where you will play a key role in ensuring production equipment and machinery are maintained to a safe and acceptable standard. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance and repair, supporting mechanical maintenance where required, completing planned preventative maintenance tasks, and helping to minimise downtime across the site.

  • Electrically biased maintenance and repair of production machinery, equipment, and site plant
  • Installation of new machinery
  • Pre-planned maintenance tasks
  • Breakdown repairs

You will liaise with Production, Stores, Despatch, contractors, suppliers, and machinery manufacturers, while supporting Health and Safety procedures.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical knowledge looking for a Monday to Friday role with overtime available, training, and the chance to support process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • Electrically biased maintenance and repair of production machinery and site plant
  • Pre-planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, machinery installation, and mechanical maintenance support
  • Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm, 39 hours per week, with overtime available

The Person

  • Previous experience with manufacturing, production machinery, or site plant
  • Electrically biased
  • Commutable to Wellington
