Maintenance Engineer

Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £49,000
Benefits: Healthcare + EV Scheme + Qualifications
Shift: 4 on 4 off, Days (Weekends – PPM's only)

About the Role

We're currently partnering with one of our rapidly investing food manufacturing clients who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Gainsborough. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to earn qualifications, as well as work part of a close-knit team at a smaller site with big expansion plans.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the factory, by performing reactive and planned maintenance work.
  • Electrical fault-finding as well as mechanical fault-finding.
  • Taking ownership of looking after the workshop, ensuring all the tools are correctly stored as well as ordering new stock when necessary.
  • Fault-finding on both the electrical and mechanical components. No programming required but need to have the ability to check I/O's, read schematics and check HMI Screens.
  • The ideal candidate will ideally have an electrical bias.

About You

To be considered for the Maintenance Engineer position, you should have the following:

  • A minimum of a Level 3 Electrical qualification
  • Experience within an engineering environment
  • Comfortably fault-find on electrical systems and be able to work in a team environment.
  • Contribute to the engineering activities across the site.
