Role Type: Contract Salary: £55 - £60 an hour (inside IR35) Shift Pattern: 4 x 4 shift working (12 hours), 2 days and 2 nights on rotation (42 hour week) Location: Liverpool
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with our client based in Stoke-on-Trent.

What you'll be doing:
- Advise and assist the design, installation and commissioning of projects and small initiatives
- Ensure that plant and equipment systems perform to manufacture product efficiently to high quality standards
- Assist with training and support of non-electrically biased engineers and electrical engineers wishing to improve their knowledge of automated machinery
- Support the engineering and manufacturing functions ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies
- Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, safety, efficiency and waste reduction
- Helping to transform the engineering maintenance strategy from a breakdown philosophy to a Right First Time, proactive philosophy

What we need from you:
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering for example - Level 3 Electrical/electronic engineering or similar
- Previous experience of automated manufacturing environments. A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
