Maintenance Engineer
Contract
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Hours: 8am-4pm (with potential occasional cover needed for 2-10pm shift)
Salary: £20-30/hr PAYE + Holidays
Location: Commutable from Flint, Deeside, Holywell, Chester, South Wirral
Our client, a UK leading manufacturer & part of a global multi-national organisation, require a Multi-Skilled biased Maintenance Engineer for a few months until about October. Dual skilled is preferred but either bias will be reviewed.
This is a contract position that will last for a few months, working 8am-4pm in the main, but there may be occasional cover needed on the 2-10pm shift if someone goes off. The position is based in the Flint area and commutable from South Wirral, Deeside, Wrexham, Chester and Holywell areas.
Details: To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required;
- Apprentice trained in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, ideally HNC level.
- Strong manufacturing background in reactive & PPM work.
- Solid all-round mechanical engineering experience covering things like bearings, shafts, rollers, pneumatics, and other production machinery, coupled with some electrical fault finding skills.
- The equipment includes Check Weighers, Flow Wrappers, metal detectors, conveyors & cutting machinery.
- Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts & work to continual improvement of the PM system.
- Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with other engineers on site.
