Maintenance Engineer £42,000 - £43,000 + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays + enhanced employer Pension + Life Assurance x6 + Training & Development

Double Days (Monday to Friday)

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a globally recognised engineering manufacturer offering excellent long-term stability, a clean working environment and Monday to Friday shifts?

This is an opportunity to join a world-leading manufacturer. Backed by a multi-billion-pound global engineering group, the business has continued to invest heavily in its facility and advanced manufacturing technology.

You'll be joining a close-knit maintenance team responsible for keeping machinery operating at peak performance, working on a wide range of CNC machinery and associated production equipment.

The Role

  • Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a large CNC machining facility
  • Mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding
  • Maintenance of CNC machine tools including spindles, ball screws, linear guides and associated assemblies
  • Fault diagnosis on Fanuc-controlled equipment
  • Supporting machinery installations and commissioning projects
  • Driving reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Working to high engineering and health & safety standards

The Candidate

  • Apprentice trained or recognised engineering qualification
  • Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding skills with electrical competence
  • Experience working on CNC machinery would be highly advantageous
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and industrial machinery
