Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Yeo Valley
About the Role
Join the heart of British dairy at Yeo Valley, where traditional farming values meet innovative technology to deliver premium products cherished across the UK. We’re seeking a Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a track record of first-fix solutions to keep production lines running optimally. Strong candidates will have the potential to progress to a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out first-fix reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Minimising downtime to sustain smooth daily operations
- Supporting continuous improvement projects and proactive maintenance strategies
- Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams

Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off rotational shifts (2 days on, 2 nights on) for a balanced work-life schedule with regular time off.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record as a Maintenance Engineer
- Qualifications: Relevant Engineering qualification
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety principles
- Industry Exposure: Preferably experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production (not obligatory)
- Multi-skilled Preference: Ideal candidates have both mechanical and electrical expertise
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with PLC systems will be advantageous
