Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Yeo Valley
About the Role

We’re seeking a Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a track record of first-fix solutions to keep production lines running optimally. Strong candidates will have the potential to progress to a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer role.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out first-fix reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
- Minimising downtime to sustain smooth daily operations
- Supporting continuous improvement projects and proactive maintenance strategies
- Collaborating closely with engineering and production teams

Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off rotational shifts (2 days on, 2 nights on) for a balanced work-life schedule with regular time off.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record as a Maintenance Engineer
- Qualifications: Relevant Engineering qualification
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Health & Safety principles
- Industry Exposure: Preferably experience in food manufacturing or FMCG production (not obligatory)
- Multi-skilled Preference: Ideal candidates have both mechanical and electrical expertise
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with PLC systems will be advantageous
