Do you want to work on maintenance projects for a well-known Cocktail bar chain in and around London? Are you a jack of all trades, experienced in reactive and planned repairs across various disciplines, and flexible in your attitude towards work?

The Role

A foot mobile engineer covering 15 bars across Central London. You’ll be required to do planned and reactive work consisting of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general snagging.

  • Organised and efficient with an eye for detail
  • A team player as well as a self-starter
  • Great problem solver and able to work under pressure
  • Flexible – whilst the hours are 8-4, due to the nature of the business you may need to work evenings and weekends from time to time
  • Trustworthy with good quality works
  • Strong time management skills

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities

  • Travel between jobs in and around London to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across assigned sites
  • Visit properties to diagnose and carry out repairs whilst on site including the ability to source material required
  • Prioritise business critical jobs and emergencies during working hours.
  • Update jobs via the Asana portal ensuring reports are written thoroughly and good-quality pictures are taken
  • Perform plumbing/plastering/painting/electrics and general maintenance tasks
  • Identify areas for improvement
  • Implement safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain expense reports

Maintenance Worker Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence (not essential)
  • Experience in all tasks including, plumbing, painting, carpentry, execution of all repair work etc
  • Appropriate qualifications such as Manual Handling, CSCS, First Aid, IPAF etc
  • Experience using hardware tools, power tools and electrical equipment
  • Experience in the hospitality sector – restaurants, bars and venues catering to the general public (preferable)
  • Due to nature of the business evenings and weekend working is required
  • Saturdays - equal rotation between all engineers in place
  • Peak Time evening work - during month of November and December evening emergency cover is set up on equal rotation between all engineers
