Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / FMCG)
£40,000 - £45,000 + Progression + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Site Based + Free Parking

Are you a Maintenance Engineer, with an electrical bias, looking to join a well-established food manufacturing company offering excellent overtime opportunities, on-call payments, and long-term career development?
On offer is the opportunity to join one of Scotland's leading manufacturers in the food industry. This company have recently been acquired by a major food corporation, providing them with a modern, state-of-the-art facility and stable future.
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production machinery and electrical systems, carrying out fault finding, planned maintenance. In specific you will work on electrical control systems, invertor drives, relays and contactors, motors and sensors.
Working closely with production teams, contractors, and management, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the site. The role will mainly focus on electrical maintenance, but some mechanical knowledge is beneficial.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias and experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments.
The Role
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on plant, machinery, and production equipment
- Respond to electrical and mechanical breakdowns, carrying out fault finding and repairs
- Perform plant start-up and shutdown procedures
- Rotating 2-week shifts, early: 04:30 - 13:30, late: 13:00 - 22:00
- On call one in four weekends, retainer pay provided
