Location: Nottingham

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Full Time, standard hours are Monday to Friday, with overtime available including weekend work

What you’ll be doing

Role

As a key member of our Property team, you will report to the Engineering Facilities Management (EFM) Manager and work alongside a dedicated group of engineers. Your role will involve:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities within the D200 Energy Centre and Boots Beeston site. Making informed decisions to ensure the safe and efficient supply of utilities. Providing support and guidance to fellow team members. Responding promptly to abnormal or emergency situations to minimise disruptions. Participating in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

A time-served Engineering apprenticeship. Significant mechanical experience. Understanding of industrial processes and steam systems. Knowledge of Health & Safety obligations in an engineering environment. A full valid UK driving licence. Strong communication and organisational skills. A positive ‘can do’ attitude, whether working independently or as part of a team.

It would be great if you also have

Experience in fault finding and repair of industrial equipment. Familiarity with computer systems relevant to engineering tasks. Flexibility to work out of hours and shifts as required.
