gap technical are proud to be representing an established manufacturing business in their search for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in Deeside.
Performance Objectives
- Promote and Carry out Preventative Maintenance
- Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose
- Undertake repairs and servicing to the highest standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications
- Overhaul and upkeep and repair of all plant machines
- Installation of new machines and equipment when required
- Actively promote safe working practices
- Review and Advise on Engineering requirements
- Work with and Coordinate Contractors as and when required
- To contribute to company objectives and values
- To adhere to Company Rules / Health and Safety / Environmental Standards and Practices
- To attend training and continuous development opportunities as required
- Continuously look for improvements to the service and for effective good practice within the role
- Alignment with the company's core values

Person Specification
- Works well under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Technical knowledge of food process equipment and wrapping machines
- Excellent understanding of how the machinery that they are working with operates
- To have excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Good interpersonal and management skills are always an asset
- Welding/fabricating skills (desirable)
