Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled)

£35,000 - £42,000 + Progression + Referral Programme + Life Assurance + Healthcare + 22 Days Holiday + Free Parking

Are you a Maintenance Engineer that is looking for an exciting opportunity in a well-established tailor-made glass processor that offers excellent progression including training on expert glass designs?

The company is a growing architectural glass processing company, working with companies like Harrods and buildings such as The Shard, established 2 decades ago and provides fully BSI approved glass and includes glass products such as balustrades, partition glass, roof canopies and flooring, right through to their technical glass ranges.

The Role:

In this role, you will be providing front line maintenance support including work on electrical, instrumental and mechanical devices. You will be working on PPM's and scheduled maintenance, along with participating in the Engineering team's breakdown and emergency call out service. You will work closely with the Engineers and Engineering Manager to ensure that the production of architectural glass is delivered accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding within electrical, instrumental and mechanical products.
  • Front line maintenance support to equipment to ensure they are running smoothly.
  • Participating in the Engineering team's breakdown and emergency call out service.

The Person:

  • Experienced within the production/manufacturing environment.
  • Skills in electrical fault finding and knowledge of PLC's.
  • Experience dismantling and re-assembling all manufacturing production equipment.
