Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  • General repair and maintenance work, both on-site and off-site
  • Ensuring all maintenance activities and equipment failures are responded to efficiently and effectively
  • Carrying out any reasonable emergency tasks as requested by the Line Manager/Supervisor
  • Undertaking additional maintenance work to support the functioning of hotel premises when required
  • Ensuring safe disposal of hazardous waste products
  • In the absence of the Line Manager/Supervisor, liaising with external contractors regarding small reactive projects
  • Maintaining the plant room in good condition and free from defects
  • Participation in Health & Safety (H&S) daily and weekly checks
  • Involvement in Pro-Active Periodic Maintenance (PPM) across the property
  • Preferred skills include plumbing, electrical work, and decorating
