Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- General repair and maintenance work, both on-site and off-site
- Ensuring all maintenance activities and equipment failures are responded to efficiently and effectively
- Carrying out any reasonable emergency tasks as requested by the Line Manager/Supervisor
- Undertaking additional maintenance work to support the functioning of hotel premises when required
- Ensuring safe disposal of hazardous waste products
- In the absence of the Line Manager/Supervisor, liaising with external contractors regarding small reactive projects
- Maintaining the plant room in good condition and free from defects
- Participation in Health & Safety (H&S) daily and weekly checks
- Involvement in Pro-Active Periodic Maintenance (PPM) across the property
- Preferred skills include plumbing, electrical work, and decorating
