About the Role
A leading global manufacturer within the engineering sector is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing manufacturing operation in Daventry.
Working within a specialist machining environment, you'll become part of a dedicated breakdowns team responsible for maintaining a large range of CNC machine tools and production equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class engineering business that continues to invest heavily in its people, facilities, and technology.

Key Responsibilities
- Reactive breakdown maintenance across a wide range of plant machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on CNC machine tools
- Mechanical maintenance including:
- Bearings
- Ballscrews
- Leadscrews
- Spindle checks and measurements
- Electrical fault finding and repair
- PLC fault finding on Siemens systems
- Fault diagnosis on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and machine reliability initiatives
- Working closely with production to minimise downtime

You'll work on a variety of modern and legacy CNC machinery including:
- Operating with a range of CNC control systems and machinery from leading manufacturers.
What We're Looking For
- Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Maintenance Engineering or similar)
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
- Manufacturing or production environment experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Experience working on industrial plant machinery
