Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer – 4 on 4 off Days & Nights, Ealing, Salary: £58,000 - £61,000
Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias looking for your next challenge? Join the team in Ealing, where you will play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing plant operates at peak efficiency. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work within a dedicated team, responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across the production facility. You will be instrumental in keeping equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to enhance machinery reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, automation, and mechanical faults efficiently.
- React swiftly to breakdowns, minimizing disruption to production.
- Perform PLC fault-finding to input and output level.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety standards, OEE performance, and CCO compliance.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You should have a strong electrical background and a passion for continuous improvement and hold some of the following qualifications;
- Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or multi-skilled engineering.
- BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-Technical Certificate with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance.
- HNC in Electrical or Production Maintenance Engineering (desirable).
- UK-qualified, or internationally qualified with verified UK equivalence
- Experience with food process machinery.
