Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled)

Shift pattern: Continental Shift + 3 (Contingent shift availability) Salary: Up to £57,500 per annum + Bonus + Unlimited Enhanced Overtime + Full Sickness Pay + Enhanced Benefits

If you have experience in hydraulics and large-scale production machinery, and are seeking a supportive team that nurtures talent, this role could be the perfect fit for you.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on heavy industrial machinery to ensure optimum reliability and efficiency.
  • Quickly implement reactive maintenance where necessary, whilst maintaining focus on structured PPM schedules.
  • Work with cutting-edge equipment, including:
    • Vacuum systems
    • Hydraulic presses
    • CNC machines
    • X-ray machinery
    • Kilns and furnaces
    • Automated conveyors
    • Robotic systems
  • Use your problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimise equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled engineering team in a facility known for first-class maintenance standards and an exemplary health & safety record.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety enhancements.

Requirements & Skills

We’re looking for an eligible candidate to fulfil the following criteria:

  • Relevant Level 3 qualifications
  • A background in heavy industry or strong aptitude and willingness to work with large hydraulic systems
  • Excellent physical fitness to thrive in a hands-on environment
  • Clear passion for engineering—whether via car restoration enthusiasts, mechanical tinkers, or academics
  • Proactive and logical mindset with proven fault-finding and problem-solving expertise
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a high-performing team
