The Opportunity
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production machinery, plant equipment, and site services.
Working closely with production and engineering teams, you'll carry out preventative, reactive, and improvement-based maintenance activities to maximise equipment performance and minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Support continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with machinery installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
- Work with PLC-controlled and automated production equipment.
- Complete maintenance documentation and records accurately.
- Participate in root cause analysis investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across the site.
About You
We're looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving problems and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Recognised Electrical Qualification.
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
- Knowledge of preventative and reactive maintenance practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.

Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Engineering.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques.
- Experience with LOTO, permit-to-work systems, and machinery safety.
- Experience of energy management or sustainability projects.
