Maintenance Engineer
Main responsibilities
The Technical/Craft Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:
- Conducting general repair and maintenance work, both on and off site
- Ensuring all maintenance activities and failures are responded to efficiently and effectively
- Performing emergency tasks as requested by the Line Manager/Supervisor
- Undertaking any related maintenance work as required by the Line Manager/Supervisor
- Safely disposing of hazardous waste products
- In the absence of the Line Manager/Supervisor, liaising with external contractors for small reactive projects
- Maintaining the plant room in good order and free from defects
- Participating in H&S daily and weekly checks
- Supporting Pro-Active Periodic Maintenance (PPM) across the property
- Applying skills in plumbing, electrics, and decorating (welcomed)
