£40,000 - £45,000 + Flexitime + Overtime + Training Location: Wellingborough
Are you a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, or similar with experience in manufacturing, looking for a role that includes on-the-job training, flexitime, and the chance to work on specialist machinery?
About the Role
Would you like the opportunity to work in a varied site-based role, combining reactive and planned maintenance across electrical, mechanical, PLC, CNC, and pneumatic systems, while also receiving training on the company’s specialist production machinery?
You’ll join an established business where your expertise will be critical in keeping site machinery, services, and production equipment running efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out diagnostics, repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), installations and general site maintenance
- Supporting continuous improvement by minimising downtime
Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, your day-to-day duties will involve:
- Electrical and mechanical diagnostics & fault finding
- Reactively & planned maintenance across electrical, mechanical, PLC, CNC, pneumatic, and automated systems
- Maintenance of site services, including:
- Lighting systems
- Heating & ventilation
- Electrical reticulation
- Air systems
- ** Liaising** with production teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Adhering to Health & Safety procedures
- Managing machinery spares inventory
- Occasional travel to the Peterborough site (once per week) using a company vehicle

The Role Summary

- Preferred: Proven experience in a production maintenance role
- Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Commutable to Wellingborough
