About The Role
Location: Barton-upon-Humber
Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time (40 hours per week), 06:00–14:30 or 07:00-15:30
We are now looking to recruit an additional Maintenance Facilities Operative within our Facilities team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber.
Main responsibilities:
- Carry out PPMs to set standards and update appropriate records
- Carry out minor mechanical, electrical (where qualified) and plumbing works
- Conduct unplanned maintenance tasks as and when requested by management team
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental requirements (including risk assessments)

About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to demonstrate experience of preventative maintenance activities
- Good working knowledge of machine maintenance and operation, and of computerised maintenance management systems
- Previous experience of mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing works, preferably within a facilities background
- Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline e.g plumbing, joinery or carpentry
- IT literate with excellent communication skills
- Pro-active attitude
